Felons should/should not be allowed to vote.

RELEVANT
----SOURCE
Felons should not be allowed to vote. For example, " People who commit serious crimes have shown that they are not trustworthy."
This shows that  if behaving like a true citizen is too hard for them then maybe voting for the right candidate is too COMPLEX for them as well.  This also shows that felons are not worthy of having the right to vote because they made the decision of doing something knowing it was bad and that there was a chance they would get caught.  In addition, "a custodial sentence has always resulted in loss of freedom and loss of democratic rights for the duration of a prisoners sentence." http://felonvoting.procon.org/view.resource.php?resourceID=000283 This shows that felons have lost their right to vote once they are convicted and put in jail. This also shows that if we think that felons so dangerous or bad that they are put into prison then why would we trust them with voting on a good candidate for our country.  In conclusion, felons should not be allowed to vote because they are untrustworthy, and they have lost any rights that they have because they chose to do something that was against the law.
How is the fact that felons are in jail RELEVANT to the situation of felons wanting rights when they are being punished?  Felons should not even have SOURCES of information to let them know what is going on outside of their cells. Some people believe that, " if we thought criminals could never be reformed, we wouldn't let them out of prison in the first place." http://felonvoting.procon.org/view.resource.php?resourceID=000283 Even thought hat may be true those who have been let out of prison earned their way out with the price to pay of having whatever they did to get into prison permanently on their record. Because they earned their way out of prison they earned their right to vote again.
