Is online learning an effective way to educate students?

Online learning is an effective way to educate students. According to NC State University, "Online learning is less expensive since there will be no  travel and housing costs to classroom" (source link). This shows that students will have more money for groceries and apartment rentals.This also shows that not having to spend a lot of time traveling to school will save the planet in the long run. some people may think that, "especially in self-paced courses it is difficult to develop relationships with classmates". According to NC State University, "no learning pace constraint, you can learn at your pace and study at your convenience" (source link). This shows that depending on the person having a self paced course can be a good or a bad thing. This also shows that some people need to have social interaction with others and some don't. In conclusion, online learning is a great way to receive an education especially since it is less expensive having everything online than going out and buying a bunch of books and paying rent for a dorm.
