Academic Language Week 33 - American Students

Cell phones should be allowed in schools. One reason is because the students can try to persuade their teachers by writing a persuasive essay on why they should be allowed to have cell phones in class and by doing this they are showing their teachers that they are mature enough to handle a cell phone during class. Another reason is the teacher can critique whether or not their class should or should not be able to have a cell phone in school. It's not up to the student but teachers may be open  to suggestions. Lastly the contrast between the maturity of a student are very different and some students can concentrate on the subject while using a phone and some students can't.
