T-Chart week 29

Parents should not face jail time for missing their child's school conference. One reason is because some parents don't have the financial resources to take off from work to go to a school conference. Secondly the student or child may have to transfer schools because if the student's parents are sent to jail then the student may not be able to stay in that school depending on the circumstances. Lastly the student may find this as a chance to seek refuge in drugs to escape the feeling that it's their fault that their parents got sent to jail. If parents go to jail just because they don't go to a school conference about their child then it may cause trouble for the child.
